Ballet is a classical dance style and we follow the ISTD syllabus (Imperial Society of Dance Teachers). Ballet is a well known style which works on grace and control within each movement and uses the arms and legs to create effortless images.

Skills develop through the grades as the classes get harder. Every child is different and will progress into the next grade when they are ready. Examinations can be taken in these classes from Primary level.

Pre School (2 - 4 yrs)

Building basic ballet steps using imagination, songs, rhythms, games & story telling; at the end of the lesson we have an introduction to Tap. We work towards the children being independent & parents not being present in the class however this is at the child’s own pace.

£72 for a 12 week term (please see page for full details including sibling discounts)

Pre Primary (4 - 6yrs)

Basic ballet steps, for the slightly stronger child with a more typical ballet class format.  Building physical strength, co-ordination and stamina while still encouraging creativity, imagination & musicality. The lesson includes elements of Pre-Primary Tap.

£72 for a 12 week term (please see page for full details including sibling discounts)
